Cassia, Capella, Singapore

Cassia is the Chinese restaurant of Capella Hotel Singapore.

Amuse-bouche

Dim Sum Platter.

Soup of the day— double boiled Chicken soup.  Good.  Rich.  Quality.

Steamed Chilean Sea Bass with Brown Shimeji mushrooms and pickled chilli (SGD$18 per pax + 1% svc charge + 7% sales tax).  The sea bass was really fresh.  I’m impressed.  The flavours were light and perfectly complemented the freshness of the fish.  Cuisine as it should be.   Very good dish.

Chilled purple sweet potato with pistachio and cream

All the dishes were good.  The sea bass was exceptional in its freshness and light, complementary flavour.

Where certain traditional Chinese restaurants have décor that are all red, Cassia is suitably modern and classy.

It is always quiet.  Perfect!
