Restaurant Ibid is the restaurant of the inaugural MasterChef Asia, Woo Wai Leong.
Wait a minute. Ibid? What an unusual name you say? Well, Class, ahem, “Ibid” means from the same source. And as you know, Singapore broke free from British colonisation to eventually become an independent, vibrant, East-meets-West city state. Chef Woo’s fusion cuisine is inspired by this East-meets-West fusion and hence the name “Ibid” for his restaurant. Geddit? And that will be in the surprise class test tomorrow.

Every dish was refined, complex and masterful. If Gxxxxx can get 2 Michelin stars, then Restautaant Ibid deserves 3 Michelin stars.
