About the brand
Founded in 2000 by a leading Thai fashion designer, Pattree Bhakditur, Erb pronounced like “herb” in English, focuses on modern-day herbal products using top-notch certified organic ingredients, whilst incorporating traditional Thai wisdom for soothing the body and indulging the soul.
Erb aims to provide their customers with not only the benefits of natural ingredients, but also the sensorial experience that comes with it. While the main purpose of many cosmetic products is to benefit the body, Erb does not forget the importance of bringing pleasure to the soul as well.
Positioning itself as a leading fragrance company in Thailand, Erb established Thailand’s first and only semi-customized perfume bar in 2012. Named the Erb Bespoke Fleurfume Bar, customers are given the creativity and freedom to create their own scent using essential oils from flowers and plants. This means that customers can bring home a one-of-a-kind scent, formulated by themselves. Erbs signature blends are also used in a wide array of its product, from face, body and hair care to home fragrances.
Origins of the brand
The creation of Erb was inspired by many things. Founder Pattree Bhakditur was first stirred by the beautiful herbal aromas she enjoyed while massaging her grandmother as a child. As she grew up, Pattree continued appreciating the cultured ways of traditional life in Thailand.
Another big influence of the brand comes from time itself. The ladies of the Siamese court culture, in the late 19th-and early 20th-century Thailand, had a knack for turning native ingredients into effective skincare and beautification treatments, which remains wonders in today’s modern-world society.
Nurturing the body and soul
