You may not know, &#x201C;Bul&#x201D; means fire, &#x201C;Gogi&#x201D; means meat and &#x201C;Syo&#x201D; means show.&nbsp; I guess you can figure out what the restaurant&#x2019;s name Bulgogi Syo means.&nbsp; When I was there on a weekday for lunch, there was a long of around 20 pax waiting for a table.&nbsp; What sets Bulgogi Syo apart from other Korean restaurants is it unique three-step process of cooking meats &#x2013; Sear, Torch and Flamb&#xE9;. The first step &#x201C;Sear&#x201D; includes sizzling the meats on a Korean-imported hot-stone pan.&nbsp; The searing seals in the sweet juices of the choice meats. The second step &#x201C;Torch&#x201D; involves using the &#x201C;Fire Blaster&#x201D; (a large blowtorch) to char the meat.&nbsp; Besides delivering beautiful colour to the meat, the Fire Blaster, with its exceptionally high temperatures, cooks the meat almost instantly to preserve its freshness.&nbsp; &nbsp; The third step &#x201C;Flamb&#xE9;&#x201D; is performed at your table.&nbsp; You can witness this dining specrtacle when you order any Syo special.&nbsp; When the Syo Specials arrives on individual hot pans heated to 180 degrees, the Fire Masters flamb&#xE9; the meat right in front of you. Syo Lunch 4-course meal with free flow Banchan 11.30am to 5pm All sets come with hit seaweed soup, soft drinks and free flow Banchan Duroc Pork Belly $19.90 The one and only Duroc Pork Belly with perfect meat and fat combination and that delicious sweetness.&nbsp; The rice was delicious too.&nbsp; The free flow Banchan consisting of kimchi and baby tomatoes, provided the right balance. Seafood Jjampong $18.90 Mussels, prawns and squid in spicy Korean seafood broth Besides meat dishes, Bulgogi Syo also has many noodle dishes for you to choose from such as Jjajangmyeon ($14.90), Kimchi Ramyeon ($18.90 with seafood, $14.90 with pork), Seafood Jjampong ($18.90), and Sagol Kalguksu ($16.90). I tried the Seafood Jjampong.&nbsp; The sweet seafood broth was only mildly spicy and perfectly balanced by the cucumber slices.&nbsp; . Bacon Kongnamul Pancake $15.90 Bacon and beansprouts pancake. I like this pancake a lot.&nbsp; It is savoury (from the bacon) but light (from the beansprouts).
