Steamed mussel with sweet basil leaves – quite unusual Fried bread with minced pork – this is so satisfying and makes for an excellent appetiser. I have seen minced chicken and minced shrimp options in other restaurants but not available here. Garlic chicken with turmeric – the chicken itself is quite plain and unremarkable. It definitely needs the delicious curry sauce that comes with it. It tastes like the curry sauce available in McDonald’s (for McNuggets) in South East Asia but fresh! I lifted the little saucer thing and drank the sauce. Brutally frank: This is quite a good place to dine. It is on Soi 8, just a few steps away from Red Ginger Chic Resort. It is very quiet (read: perhaps only 2 tables occupied on a typical night). It has offers lower prices than certain restaurants on Soi 8 but the food is by no means inferior. They also offer 60 min Thai massage (at 300B) and other massages just next door.
