The cuisine was unexpectedly amazing.  I reckon it will blow your mind too.  MZ AvoCoconut Ice Cream RM$11.90 The coconut ice cream was just lovely on the freaking hot day I was here.  It was rich and fragrant.  The avocado puree was so creamy.  There entire cup was ice cold, just as it should. MZ Special Banh Mi RM$12.90 The baguette was so fragrant.  It is sooooo hard to find baguette in Jonor Bahru, let alone Vietnamese baguette.  The sandwich was delicious, complex in flavour, yet light, thanks to the scallions.  They paid attention to detail and served up the baguette warm. MZ Special Pho Beef RM$16.90 This is the most delicious pho I have ever eaten.  I never expected that it would be in a small town like Johor Bahru.  The broth was light but rich and flavourful.  The beef was tender.  You squeeze lime juice over it before you start eating.  That adds acidity and zest.  With the herbs provided,  it was just soooo aromatic and out of this world.  It must also be said the chilli in which you dip the beef was also out of this world. Vietnamese Fried Quail with Green Sauce RM$10.90 The standout of this dish is the green chilli sauce you the quail into.  It was out of this world!  It was very complex in flavour but completely balanced.  The sauce gave the quail an unforgettable kick and lifted it immeasurably.
