This is one of my little dining secrets.  Tipo Pasta Bar, imho, is the best pasta restaurant in Singapore, primarily because of the lightness and freshness of its daily handmade pasta.  Pasta Express is like Tipo Pasta Bar lite.  Like Tipo Pasta Bar, you get to custom mix and match from a selection of sauces, meat toppings and vegetable toppings to create your unique bowl of piping hot pasta.   Pasta Express has outlets in university campuses across Singapore.  The most central outlet would be its SMU outlet at Stamford Road.  Right next door and definitely within sight is the National Museum.  It was raining but I a lighted at Bras Basah MRT and walked through the underground “shopping street” of SMU to reach the Law Faculty.  I remained dry. The selection is extremely focused, the prices are reasonable and the service is fast. You get to choose from 3 sauces: red (tomato), white (cream), clear (aglio olio). Minced Beef Bolognese + Bell Pepper + Mushrooms + Sous Vide Egg Bacon Carbonara + Bell Pepper + Mushrooms + Sous Vide Egg Smoked Duck Spaghetti Aglio Olio + Bell Pepper + Mushrooms All the bowls are delicious.  I particularly appreciate that I can get smoked duck in a “fast food joint” like this.  Try to get the smoked meat ie smoked duck or bacon. The smokiness was incredible. I also like the aglio olio — it was garlicky and nice.
