Despite its trendy status, The Majapahit is a friendly neighbourhood restaurant to the large expatriate community it serves. With an interior in green and gold and filled with plants, the restaurant is calming and elegant. The Majapahit serves beautiful cocktails and I really needed them after coming in from the heat of KL weather. Pina Colada RM$25 Bacardi Rum, Pineapple Juice, Malibu & Pinacolada Mix Strawberry Mojito RM$26 Bacardi Rum, Fresh Strawberry, Mint Leaves, Lime, Sugar & Soda The Majapahit is the perfect confluence of Southeast Asian cuisines, all under one roof in one beautiful setting. Curry Galore RM$52 An umami-filled platter of Thai Red Curry Beef, Thai Green Curry Chicken, Indonesian Squid Curry and Malaysian Prawn Curry. Served with a side of Chapati Bread & Cassava Crackers. What a beautiful presentation. I love colour block dishes. I loved the Thai beef curry most. It was mildly spicy and the oomph of the beef hit the right spot for me. Coconut Butter Chicken RM$25 Rich stew of tender chicken pieces, cooked with a blend of ground spices and coconut milk. Meaty, buttery, velvety, coconut. All my faves in one plate! Yes! Crispy Flying Fish RM$52 Deep-fried flying fish served with sweet-and-spicy dark sauce This is a popular dish served in Indonesia. It is usually taken with the sweet-spicy dark sauce served on the side. Viewed from the top, I loved the curves of the fish. I thought it was beautiful. Thai Stir-fried Baby Kailan RM$29 Stir-fried fresh baby kailan with prawn, garlic and oyster sauce. I love Thai stir-fry and this was no exception. Spicy Seafood Tom Yam RM$32 Thai style hot and sour soup with sea bass, squid and prawns Authentic and chock-full of shrimp and mushrooms. The Majapahit Lot No. G8, G9 & G10, G Level, ARCORIS MONT KIARA, No. 10, Jalan Kiara, Mont Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur Open daily from 12PM – 12:30AM
</oembed>
