It was very, very quiet&#8212;&#8211;a huge plus point for me. I ordered Bavette Steak (aka Flank Steak) which comes with fries and grilled asparagus.\u00a0 Entrees are also served with bread and olive oil. With a Japanese head chef in charge (and the Japanese culture\u2019s demand for high quality in very aspects), the steak did not disappoint.\u00a0 It was just impeccable.\u00a0 It had just the right amount fat and tenderness. Though the waiter had neglected to ask me how I would like my steak done, Head Chef Takashi Okuno did a most excellent job and grilled it just right.\u00a0 I also appreciated that the fries were neatly stacked in a criss-cross manner rather than the straight-forward messy pile of fries.\u00a0 The presentation, in all, was neat, simple and effective. What could have been better was the service \u2013 the bread and olive oil took a very long time to come. The bread quality could be better.\u00a0 The cutlery could be replaced immediately after the tables were cleared \u2013 it just looks better and more professional. Nevertheless, the quality of the cut and its expert handling more than made up for lagging service.\u00a0 At only S$26++, I consider this excellent value for money.\u00a0 I will definitely return.\u00a0 And the place is very, very quiet."}
