Zipangu, Kuala Lumpur Shangri-la is our favourite hotel group and Shangri-la Kuala Lumpur is the best hotel we have seen, even to this day!&nbsp; The excellence extends to their restaurants.&nbsp; Each dish, the ambience, the service is of the highest quality.&nbsp; There is nothing I can pick on.&nbsp; Shang Palace, Kuala Lumpur Shang Palace is the Chinese restaurant of Shangri-la Kuala Lumpur.&nbsp; What is said for Zipangu above also applies to Shang Palace.&nbsp; Shang Palace is patronised by the city\u2019s elite and wealthy businessmen. Sasso Rosso, Kuala Lumpur This is a restaurant helmed by a chef-owner.&nbsp; I loved this sort of restaurants where the owner is also the chef because that usually means the owner-chef is very hands on about the cuisine and the cuisine is excellent as a result.&nbsp; That is definitely true here.&nbsp; Thirty8, Kuala Lumpur Thirty8, on top of the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, offers 360 degree panoramic views of the city.&nbsp; I don\u2019t usually like all-day dining restaurants but the dishes are of a very high standard.&nbsp; Add to that a great view, well, why not? Ciccio, Kuala Lumpur Ciccio is a really memorable restaurant for me.&nbsp; It is located in the party, touristy strip. Yet the cuisine adheres strictly to quality.&nbsp; It shows in the clientele. Compared to other restaurants along the same strip, Ciccio attracts a quieter clientele."}
