When I arrived on a Thursday morning, it was nearly full house. Housed in a black and white bungalow in the Dempsey area, the interior can be described as Scandinavian. Think light, warm wood tones against white walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For spa treatments, you are led to the adjacent bungalow where the treatment rooms are.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For my full body massage, I got to pick my preferred oil. The massage oil smelled luxurious and upmarket. The massage was great — it was firm and quite hard, just what I needed. I did fall asleep during the massage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Medical Pedicure is presented as the perfect remedy for callused skin, cracked heels, dry skin, fungus, peeling skin. I had so much calluses on my feet that I could no longer ignore it. The calluses are starting to hurt when I walk. Every time I looked at my feet, I thought, “OMG. I look like a dinosaur that has rampaged through countless jungles.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My pedicure started.  The therapist started pushing back and cutting the cuticles.  My nails looked better immediately.  They looked more refined\u2026.less pre-historic\u2026hahaha<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the therapist started buffing my nails.  Perfect!  I do like my nails to have bit of a healthy sheen.  They look clean and nice that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
