Entering the THANN sanctuary in Bangkok, you realise it\u2019s vastly different from other spas. Firstly, the sound of running water envelops you, as if you are standing in the middle of a tranquil forest listening to a brook sing. Everything else is quiet and calm. Secondly, the lighting is gorgeous, classy. The lights are dim and muted – no harsh, glaring screens or LED lights, just soothing shades of grey and brown. Both therapists were very professional and experienced, and there was no chattering during the massage: everything is geared toward your relaxation. It\u2019s easy to become so comfortable that you fall asleep!
