I also<\/a> visited Lanna Spa which is diagonally opposite my hotel. I requested for a 60 min oil massage (450B, through they gave a 10% discount when it was time to pay).<\/p>\n

When requested \u201cstrong, strong\u201d, the female therapist initially exerted harder but then eventually went back to soft, smooth strokes, way too soft for my liking. I felt like I was being felt up instead of being massaged.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have sensitive skin so I gave her a bottle of castor oil to use on me instead of the synthetic oils common at spas.\u00a0 She used a little bit and when back to the synthetic oil, presumably because the castor oil provides more friction and she has to use more force. I had to raise my head and she held her bottle of synthetic oil and asked me, \u201cOK?\u201d\u00a0 I thought, No!!!\u00a0 I already told you!\u00a0 I didn\u2019t show any emotion, said \u2018no\u201d and made the scratching action.\u00a0 Still, she continued using the synthetic oil (castor oil has a distinctive texture and smell, if you know what I mean).\u00a0 Only when I turned on my back (stomach up), she cleverly started using the castor oil.<\/strong><\/p>\n
