Baked French Onion Soup
Morton’s The Steakhouse elevates a classic with its Baked French Onion Soup, a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant. This dish features a rich, deeply flavored broth made from caramelized onions, slowly simmered to achieve a perfect balance of sweetness and umami.
The soup is topped with a generous layer of melted cheese, which forms a deliciously golden, bubbly crust. As you dig in, the cheese adds a luxurious, gooey texture that perfectly complements the savory broth. There is also a round disc of crouton nestled beneath the cheese that soaks up all that delicious broth.
Morton’s Baked French Onion Soup is the perfect way to begin your meal, offering a taste of indulgence and warmth that sets the stage for the rest of your dining experience.
Suggested wine pairing: Menage A Trois Gold Chardonnay 2020
This wine enchants with its radiant golden color and captivating aromas, offering a preview of its complex character. The enticing scents of crème brûlée, honeyed pineapple, and exotic flowers emerge from the glass, hinting at the pleasures that lie ahead. On tasting, a vibrant tapestry of ripe tropical fruits unfolds, enriched by the creamy essence of French vanilla and delicate hints of sweet spices. The experience culminates in a velvety, buttery finish. With its beautifully layered flavors and sumptuous, silky texture, this wine provides a truly indulgent and memorable sip.
This is one of the best wine I have tasted.
The creamy, toasty notes of Chardonnay perfectly enhance the full-bodied richness of French Onion Soup, including the indulgent, buttery cheese-coated crouton that crowns the dish. I particularly enjoy how Chardonnay’s tropical fruit flavors harmonize with the nutty essence of the melted cheese enveloping this classic soup. The wine’s lively acidity provides a refreshing counterpoint to the robust onion flavors, balancing the richness of the soup while maintaining its presence against the bold, savory profile.
All wine at Morton’s is served in Riedel stemware.
Entrée – Seafood
Lobster Tail
At Morton’s The Steakhouse, the Grilled Lobster Tail is a standout dish that exemplifies their commitment to exceptional quality and flavor.
Each lobster tail is generously sized and grilled to perfection, offering a delightful smokiness that enhances the natural sweetness of the seafood. The meat is exceptionally juicy and has a rich, buttery texture that melts in your mouth.
The presentation of the Grilled Lobster Tail is equally impressive, with the lobster arranged elegantly and garnished with a lemon wedge that adds a refreshing citrus note.
Suggested wine pairing: Menage A Trois Gold Chardonnay 2020
When it comes to pairing wine with lobster, Chardonnay emerges as a standout choice. Its versatility is rooted in its balanced profile, which features moderate tannins and acidity. Whether the lobster is prepared simply with a light seasoning or grilled with a more robust flavor profile, Chardonnay adapts seamlessly. Its medium acidity helps cut through the richness of the lobster meat, while its flavors of ripe fruit and subtle oak complement the sweetness of the seafood. This makes Chardonnay not just a safe choice but an ideal one, enhancing the overall dining experience with its well-rounded character.
Menage A Trois Gold Chardonnay 2020 is an exquisite match for lobster tail, elevating this dish to new heights. The wine’s radiant golden hue and complex aromas of crème brûlée, honeyed pineapple, and exotic flowers create a luxurious prelude to the pairing. Its vibrant flavors of ripe tropical fruits and creamy French vanilla beautifully complement the sweet, delicate meat of the lobster tail. The wine’s silky texture and buttery finish harmonize seamlessly with the richness of the lobster, enhancing each bite and ensuring a sumptuous, memorable dining experience.

Signature Side Dish
Jumbo Asparagus
The asparagus spears are generously sized, boasting a satisfying crunch and vibrant, fresh flavor that highlight their quality.
Grilled to perfection, the asparagus retains just the right amount of bite while developing a subtle smoky char that enhances its natural earthiness. The addition of the grilled lemon wedge is a masterstroke, offering a bright, citrusy contrast that elevates the dish. When squeezed over the asparagus, the lemon juice adds a zesty freshness that beautifully balances the richness of the steak or any other main course.
The thoughtful preparation and presentation of this dish make it a delightful, refreshing addition to your meal. The combination of tender asparagus with the smoky, tangy notes from the grilled lemon creates a harmonious and flavorful experience

The blend of cheeses used in this dish provides a harmonious balance of sharpness and smooth creaminess, creating a sauce that is both flavorful and indulgent.
