Afternoon High Tea, Hotel Jen Orchardgateway, Singapore

In the newly opened Hotel Jen Orchardgateway, an afternoon high tea is served in the Lobby Lounge from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

The afternoon high tea is creatively served on a baking pan and a wooden block. With this unusual twist, the presentation almost takes on an art form. Add your own interpretation here.

Within the pan, you get a mixture of Asian and Western sweets. The items change regularly. While I was there, I had

For beverages, between the hours of 2.30pm and 4.30pm, you get to enjoy free flow coffee and tea.

For tea, you get to choose from several types of Dilmah T-series tea:
Brilliant Breakfast
Earl Grey
Sencha Green Te
Jasmine Green Tea
Peppermint
Darjeeling
Chamomile
Rose with French Vanilla

For coffee, you can choose between
Choice of Single Espresso, Freshly Brewed, Capuccino, Latte, Decaffeinated, Long Black/Americano, Double Espresso, Ice-coffee

The lounge is one of casual chic. The lounge also overlooks Orchard Road. Come Christmas, when Orchard Road is decorated in Christmas cheer, you will get the best seat in the house to check out the Christmas lights.

Hotel Jen sits on top of the newly opened Orchard Gateway Shopping mall. It sits right along Orchard Road, the main shopping belt of Singapore. Right under the hotel are many malls, such as Orchardgaateway, Orchard Central, 111Somerset.

Orchard Gateway is connected to Somerset subway station. The location of the hotel cannot be more convenient.

With a top location, a brand-new chic interior, an unbeatable view and an appealing mix of Western and Asian sweets, Hotel Jen Orchardgateway is a great way to while away an afternoon.  I miss my time there.
