Favourite Hangout of Regulars @ Birdie Num Num Gastrobar, Singapore

Located on the quieter side of Kembangan, which is not the same as the row of eateries along Upper Changi Road and the row of bistros along Frankel Ave, Birdie Num Num Gastrobar has a friendly laid back vibe.

BBQ Japanese Squid $18.99

A visually show-stopping tapas that is beautifully grilled.  It is not too greasy and the bits of tomatoes on top add sweetness and acidity.

BBQ Scallops with Mentaiko $16.90

The scallops are huge and seem fresh.

Aglio Olio with Tiger Prawns $19.90

Handmade pasta tossed in garlic, chillipadi, olive oil.

This is like a fusion pasta reminiscent of Bak Chor Mee.

Donald Duck Leg Confit $20.90

Crispy golden brown, accompanied with roasted potatoes tossed in garlic and herbs.

The presentation is lovely.  The roasted potatoes and roasted garlic are absolutely delicious.  Roasted garlic is delicious —- why don’t more people do it? The simple salad is perfectly adequate.
