The antidote to your malaise might just be (working title) Burger Bar and their very well-designed burgers.
What impresses me most about (working title) Burger Bar is that their beef patties are ground and made daily. Indeed, there is a certain lightness and freshness to their beef patties. Also, they have hit upon the optimal formula of 70% meat to 30% fat for their beef patties. I have to concede that the beef patties are optimally juicy without being too greasy and sickening.
SAMBAL WINGS $8.90
Grilled chicken wings doused in sambal sauce garnished with cucumber and a squeeze of calamansi
This starter/ snack is just amazing! The wings are beautifully grilled and they come with an amazing char aroma. The wings have the right amount of fat and are thoroughly flavourful. With the acidity and brightness of the calamansi juice, they are just very well-balanced and delicious!

This is a very well-designed and healthy burger. Firstly, the chicken is grilled. The guacamole adds healthy fats and creaminess. The tortilla chips add crunch and texture. Overall, I like the variety of textures in this burger.

OMG! The king of all burgers! The burger to end all burgers! It is so satisfying to demolish this one.

This burger is like the Zinger but better! It is better because it is less greasy and the sweet coleslaw provides great balance to the rest of the burger.
PBJ $11.90
An irresistible duo of nutty and nice; peanut butter shake with strawberry jam and topped with whipped cream and a caramel biscuit
The milkshake was stunning. You have the rich peanut butter flavour, topped with whipped cream and balanced by the tang of the strawberry jam. The biscuit adds another layer of flavour and crunch to the milkshake.

Espresso with Vanilla milkshake topped with tiramisu cake, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and speculoos biscuit
Another stunning milkshake. You really get the tiramisu flavour, which I found really novel. There is a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Finally, the crumbs add texture.
Both milkshakes are inventive milkshakes that managed to creatively translate the flavours of other food into a milkshake to capture exactly what their names convey and have complex layers of flavours. Very well-conceived and very well-executed.
