Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Already conveniently located on top of the gigantic Berjaya Times Square Mall and right in the heart of Bukit Bintang shopping district,  Berjaya Times Square Hotel has upped their offering to business travellers by introducing Club rooms.

The Club Premier room, in a word,  is HUGE!.  It is the size of a suite in other hotels.  The spaciousness is such a luxury in this day and age.

The Voja toiletries are not made in some third world country; they are made in the EU.  They have really interesting flavours such as Spearmint and Rosemary and they smell so delicious you can almost eat them.

As club guests,  you get to enjoy exclusive access to the stylishly decked out Club Lounge on Level 14 in the West Wing.  Here, club guests experience dedicated check-in and check-out as well as all day soft drinks and coffee and tea.

In addition, the most fun part of the club experience has to be the cocktail hour everyday from 1730 hrs to 1930 hrs.  Here, you can get free flow cocktails, liquors and house wines.  I was impressed that they provide Wolf Blass wines as their house pours.  The buffet spread during cocktail hours is a generous one, with such savoury bites as breaded fish fingers, chicken in pandan leaves, siew mai and so on.  There are also delicious cakes and cheeses.

Club guests can choose to enjoy their breakfasts in the Club Lounge or Big Apple Restaurant also on Level 14 and just a few metres away. I would highly recommend the former.  The breakfast spread is almost comparable to the one in Big Apple (some hotels provide a much smaller spread in their club lounges), the food is much more nicely presented and the environment is a lot quieter.

While staying here, perhaps you would like to check out their gym and swimming pool on Level 15.

The gardens and pool area is absolutely stunning.

I think this is the only hotel in KL I have seen so far which offers poolside views of BOTH Petronas Towers AND KL Tower.

You can access a spa on the same level too.

The hotel is connected to Imbi Monorail Station through a covered walkway and is above a gigantic shopping mall, so if you need a pharmacy, supermarket, F&B, Starbucks, fast food etc, it’s no problem at all.
