Cugini belongs to the MangiatuttoGroup of restaurants. They have a few locations around Singapore.  Theirbranch at Club Street is housed in a lovely shophouse with strong Mediterranean feel.  The atmosphere is relaxed rather than stiff finedining.   Laid back covers are played through the speakers.

A most excellent starter! Imagine the savoury of foie gras combined with the tang of mango against a baseof neutral bread.  The pistachio crumbs and rucola add dimensions to thetexture and taste respectively.  A stimulating  symphony to thepalette!

The steak was decent.  Thefries were executed very well–  golden brown,  with a slight crispwhile retaining moisture and whiteness inside.  The vegetables wereperfect — beautiful char marks,  glistening,  still retainingfreshness and snap.

AFFOGATO S$15

vanilla ice-cream, coffee, rum

A classic dessert and they didn’tgo wrong.  The expresso was delicious.
