Roast Pork Belly $15.90

Crispy pork belly served with georges spicy dip

This is a mouthwatering dish that combines the perfect blend of textures and flavors.

Each bite offers a delightful contrast between the crispy, golden-brown skin and the succulent, tender meat beneath. The skillful preparation of the pork belly results in a crackling that’s nothing short of perfection, with a satisfying crunch that gives way to a rich, melt-in-your-mouth sensation.

The portion size is generous, making it a satisfying and filling meal on its own or a crowd-pleasing tapas to be shared among many.

Singapore Coffee Ribs $19.90

Sticky porky goodness doused in georges secret housemade coffee sauce

Georges Singapore Coffee Ribs offer a truly unique and delectable experience that’s worth every penny of the $19.90 price tag. This dish is a culinary masterpiece that brings together the savory and aromatic elements of coffee and perfectly prepared pork ribs.

The first thing that strikes you is the enticing aroma as the plate of coffee ribs is placed before you. The sticky, succulent pork ribs are generously coated in George’s secret housemade coffee sauce, which is where the magic happens. The sauce is a masterful blend of coffee’s deep, roasted richness and sweet, tangy notes that create a harmonious flavor symphony.  Coffee as a sauce for pork may sound unconventional, but it works brilliantly. The coffee infuses the dish with a delightful complexity that’s both comforting and exciting. It’s a testament to the chef’s creativity and skill in combining unexpected flavors.

Finally, I think the portion size is generous.

Grilled Pork Chop (min 20 mins waiting time) $27.90

Succulent 300gm bone in pork chop served with mashed potatoes, buttered vegetables and finished with homemade LP sauce

The first thing that strikes you is the promise of a minimum 20-minute waiting time, which sets high expectations. Rest assured, the wait is entirely justified. The result is a succulent 300-gram bone-in pork chop that’s cooked to perfection.

The pork chop is a sight to behold, showcasing a gorgeous sear on the outside and a tender, juicy interior. Each bite is a flavorful journey, revealing the natural richness of the meat.

The accompaniments are equally impressive. The mashed potatoes are velvety smooth, and the buttered vegetables provide a balanced contrast to the hearty pork. The pièce de résistance is the homemade LP sauce, which takes the dish to new heights. It’s a flavor explosion, offering both sweetness and savory notes that complement the pork flawlessly.

Andersen’s Ice Cream (Single Scoop) $5.90

Rum and Raison, Strawberry and Cream

The rich, velvety texture of the ice cream was perfectly complemented by the subtle warmth of the rum and the sweet, chewy raisins. Each bite was a delightful blend of creaminess and a mild kick of alcohol, making it a treat for grown-up palates. The Strawberry and Cream, on the other hand, was a pleasant contrast with its fruity freshness and a creamy undertone.

Both scoops had a luscious, smooth texture that simply melted in the mouth. The ice cream had a good balance of airiness, preventing it from feeling too heavy, and it was just the right temperature, not too soft or too hard.
