Getting to and from the airport Krabi, Thailand

At the airport, immediately after arrivals, you are able to buy bus tickets to various parts of Krabi.  The aircon bus from the airport to Ao Nang costs 150B.  The journey from the airport to Ao Nanag takes approx. 40 mins and they drop you right at the doorstep of your hotel.

There are also taxi services at the airport, right next to the bus tickets counter but obviously taxi costs more.

To get back to the airport, you can enquire at your hotel front desk and they can book a seat on the bus shuttle for you.  They pick you from the doorstep of your hotel.  The ticket is 150B and you pay the driver.

Brutally frank:

It took me 1 hr 20 mins from the hotel to the airport cos the bus travelled to Krabi town first to dropped a couple of tourists at the bus station. 

This service is heaven-sent. They drop you and pick you up from the doorstep of your hotel. How comfortable.  It’s like a taxi service but cheaper.
