M Social, Singapore

M Social is a youthful hotel located in Robertson Quay.  In front of the hotel right by the river is a row of cafes and restaurants so dining outside of the hotel should be easy.

In the lobby are a row of iMacs for hotel guests to use.

What’s fantastic is that there is a foreign currency machine right in the lobby.

The quirky Loft Premier room is exactly as it says– there are 2 storeys in the room and the bed is located upstairs.

Designed by Phillipe Starck, the room has paaaaaanoramic 2 storey-high floor-to-ceiling windows with city views.  Imagine waking up with a view of the city at your feet.

Downstairs, there is a 3-person couch.  Wow!  Very generous.

Of course, there is free coffee and tea and there are free snacks.

For breakfast, guests go to Beasts and Butterflies on the ground floor.

The breakfast is a simple spread.

They do have 2 big draws — a robot that fries eggs for you and a machine that makes pancakes a-la-minute.  There are always kids crowding around the robot frying eggs.

There are washing machines (they accept tokens), a swimming pool and a small gym on Level 5.
