Molten Chocolate Cafe (Aeon Tebrau City), Johor Bahru

Molten Chocolate Cafe (located in Aeon Tebrau City) is exactly as it says.  The menu has a range of items, such as  crepes, pancake, waffle, brownies, ice cream, fondues, hot chocolates, smoothies and milkshakes, and every item on the menu has chocolate in it.

Molten Chocolate Waffle RM$33; RM$37 (with ice-cream)

Classic Belgian waffle, served with slices of strawberry, banana, kiwi and pineapple.  Drizzled with rich chocolate.  (Optional: served with ice-cream on the side)

What a beautiful plate!  I loved the colours.  The acidic of the fruit was a wonderful balance to the sweet richness of the chocolate.   The coldness of  the ice-cream was also a wonderful balance to the warm, dripping chocolate.

Turkish Coffee RM$10

Why not pair the above with a cup of rich Turkish Coffee?

Framde Chocolate RM$35

Marshmellow strawberry slices and brownie bits.  Served with our signature rich Belgium chocolate in melting mug.  Choose any 3 from these items: 1. Strawberry 2. Banana 3. Brownie 4. Marshmellow

Wonderful.  You can “play fondue” with your boyfriend/ girlfriend in this cafe.  The molten chocolate was indeed rich.  They have also prepared more raw chocolate chips which you can melt and dip into, in case the molten chocolate was not enough.  I thought that was very considerate and generous.

Hazelnut Coffee RM$9

I paired the Framde Chocolate with Hazelnut Coffee. I loved the nutty flavour!

The presentation of their plates was of an international standard.  The portion is huge, so you can easily share with someone.  Great value of money and excellent conversation starter!
