Morettino Cafe, Singapore

Morettino Cafe is a new cafe located right downtown in 100AM Mall in Tanjong Pagar.  Morettino has an authentic Italian head chef so you are assured of the authenticity of the cuisine.

One side of the cafe has glass windows overlooking the side walk so it is quite a good place to people watch.

Mussels Saute S$14.80

In white wine sauce/ cream sauce/ tomato sauce with garlic bread

This was awesome!  I chose white wine sauce. The juices of the mussels and the sweetness of  the wine plus the slight zing of the garlic make for a pleasing starter that stimulates a wide range of taste buds.

Roasted Beef Platter S$18.80

Marinated roast beef mesclun salad, smoked cheese, cherry tomato, onion, lemon

The platter looks beautiful.  Taste-wise, it is light but satisfying.

Pizza Parma Ham S$28

Tomato, mozzarella cheese, prosciutto and mixed greens

The pizza arrived so aromatic.  This is a competent pizza.

Truffle Carbonara  S$24

Spaghetti carbonara with truffle and olive sauce and smoked bacon

This is very definition of al dente. The rich truffle sauce gave it a luxurious feel. 

Handmade Tiramisu S$6.80

Single Espresso S$3

There is really nothing negative I can pick about the tiramisu. It is everything it is supposed to be.
