Stellato Cafe, Johor Bahru

Stellato Cafe is a clean premium ice cream cafe located in a refined and quiet part of Mount Austin.

The decor of Stellato Cafe has a slight Brit Mod, yuppie feel to it.

What impresses me about Stellato Cafe is that ALL their ice cream flavours are made in-house.  In the cafe,  you can see the machine they use to make the ice cream.  Since their ice-cream are made in-house, their ice cream indeed tastes light and more importantly,  they taste fresh.  The ice cream is free from that sickening synthetic feel you get from ice cream bought in a supermarket.

Waffle and Triple Scoop Ice-cream RM$19.50

Choice of syrup: maple/ chocolate/ caramel

The waffle was well-made.  It has got a crispy crust but light and fluffy inside. I tried Hokkaido Milk,  Gula Melaka, and Black Sesame flavours of ice cream.  The Gula Melaka and Black Sesame were particularly delicious.

All in all,  Stellato Cafe is a quality cafe and I am glad to know it.
