Top Recommended Hotel: Hyatt Regency Phuket

The Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort first opened its doors to tourists back in 2014, and it remained to be the first Hyatt property established on the sunny island. Since then, it has continued to enthrall visitors with its excellent 5-star accommodation, first class amenities and a scenic view of the gorgeous Kamala Beach.

Located just under 35 minutes away from Phuket International Airport, visitors are invited to treat themselves to an experience of a lifetime –  the opportunity to be chauffeured around in a luxurious limousine from the airport, right up to the doorstep of their resort.

Fresh white walls, floors that shine like mirrors and tasteful decor. Comfortable, plush couches over-looking the vast open sea and lush, tall, trees that sway gently in the tropical breeze. These are just some of the wonderful sights that greet you at the lobby.

An exploration of the premise reveal the real focal point of the resort – a huge, inviting swimming pool, flanked by ample seating areas where you can sit back, relax and work on your tan – or watch the sun dip over the horizon.

Buggy services are also available for folks looking to move, unhampered, around the compound, free of charge.

The resort boasts over 199 well furnished rooms, most of which come with a fantastic view and plenty of fresh air. The rooms come in at various price points and amenities, some of which offer private access to your own pool!

Our stay at the resort was, as expected, amazingly comfortable. The master bedroom we were given was connected to a massive balcony decked with a 6-seater dining table and even a daybed. A 40-inch flat screen TV adorn the room, complete with cable and satellite channels.

A little minibar can be found at the corner of the room. There, a Nespresso machine stood on the counter top, and various capsules are provided for its occupants to enjoy their daily hit of caffeine.

Let’s face it – food makes or breaks a vacation. Lucky for us, Hyatt provides over three dining venues on location, namely The Pool House, Sunset Grill and The Pool Bar. Whether you are craving for the local Thai favourites or have a hankering for succulent grilled seafood, there’s always something to whet your appetite while basking in the glorious sights of the adjacent sea.

Gateway to Paradise

Need to stretch your legs a little? You’d be pleased to know that there are various activities that you can partake in both on location as well as a stone’s throw away from the resort.

Pamper yourself at the resort’s Nahm Spa while your therapists work away the aches and knots in your body. Take a stroll down Kamala Beach and feel the white, pristine sand beneath your feet. Book an exotic tour in Patong and engage in white water rafting or even partake in elephant bathing.

Bottom line, there’s always something for everyone, and it is no wonder why the Hyatt Recency Phuket Resort is a well sought-after place of retreat for folks across the globe.
