The newly refurbished Premier room is bright and airy.  Clever use of patterned mirrors and cool grey lend the room a modern, sophisticated feel.  These rooms overlook the Happy Valley racecourse.

One unique feature of the Premier rooms is that they have a water bar where guests can choose from different kinds of water. I thought that was very fun.

So they generously provide free premium wifi (*up to 200 Mbps and 6 devices).  I can attest that the wifi was truly fast and I thought 6 devices was extremely generous.  That is the most number of devices I have seen so far—– usually hotels only allows up to 2 or 3 devices).
• A practical wardrobe with a nifty foldable ironing board.
• Simmons top-tier Beautyrest mattress (yes, the mattress did feel expensive and was solidly comfortable).
• 11-choice pillow menu—- have fun trying a different pillow every night!
• 40″ wall-mounted HD LED TV with over 30 satellite and cable channels (the TV is 32″ in Premier room).

One invaluable, god-send feature the hotel provides is that ALL rooms come with a smart phone.  Guests have unlimited free use of this smart phone with unlimited 3G data and IDD calls home to 7 countries.  This feature is priceless!  It is worth checking in to this hotel for this feature alone.  They truly understand the challenges for being a traveller in a foreign land, be it for business or leisure.  Sometimes, when you are out, you need to check the map, you need to check the information about transport, this free smart phone solves soooooooooooo many problems for travellers.  For a relatively small hotel, this hotel really packs a punch in its product offering.  David vs Goliath.

Located between the bustling business district of Wanchai and the shopping paradise of Causeway Bay, Cosmopolitan Hotel is an 8-minute walk from Causeway Bay MTR station. There is a tram station (Queen’s Road East) right in front of the hotel.  This is also an easy hotel for taxi drivers to find as it is located right next to the Happy Valley racecourse.

There is a half hourly free shuttle bus to Causeway Bay.  There are also free shuttle buses to Wanchai, Admiralty and Central.
