Greyhound Cafe (Bukit Bintang), Kuala Lumpur

Popular Thai cafe chain Greyhound Cafe is located in the heart of the Bukit Bintang shopping district.

The decor is modern chic industrial open bar.

Fresh Coconut Shake (RM$16)

Intensely refreshing on a hot KL day.

Thai Iced Tea with Milk (RM$12)

Complicated noodle (RM$26)

Noodle sheet + fresh lettuce leaves + minced chicken sauce + chili sauce

A most novel way to eat a salad and a sure fire conversation starter.

Greyhound Famous Fried Chicken Wings (RM$18)

Deep fried marinated mini chicken wings in fish sauce.

Golden brown and crispy on the outside,  succulent and juicy on the inside.

Phad Thai with Fresh Shrimp

Fried Thai rice noodle with tamarind sauce and fresh shrimps served with crushed peanut and chili flakes.

Authentic Phad Thai.  It was delicious and hit every spot of my Phad Thai craving.

Spaghetti with Dried Salty Fish (RM$26)

Stir-fried with holy basil leaves and chillies.

A most interesting combo—- the salted fish is crunchy and not that salty;  the spaghetti tastes like Aglio Olio.

Stir-fry Minced Chicken with Basil (RM$27)

You can find typical Thai street food here too!

The cafe chain also offers many delectable Western and Asian desserts.  Here are just 2 of them:

Young Coconut Crepe Cake

Roll of crepe sheets, shredded young coconut and whipped cream

Banoffee

Oreo crust, sea salt caramel, banana and vanilla fresh cream
