ON DINING, Kitchen & Lounge is located on 28th & 29th floors of 18 On Lan Street, Central, within walking distance of Central MTR station.

The interactive dining kitchen style restaurant and buzzing lounge designed for foodies with its own menu boasts incredible views across Hong Kong.

ON DINING is the latest creation of Philippe Orrico following the launch of his first solo venture, the Michelin starred Upper Modern Bistro, which opened just one year ago.

The menu at ON DINING is inspired by the fresh ingredients and vibrant flavours of southern Europe and the Mediterranean. It features comforting dishes that are simple and well executed

ON DINING is set over two floors, the Lounge is on 29th floor and the Kitchen on 28th floor.  I was impressed by the modern contemporary interior.  The interiors, by Tim Shepherd of Two Men in Hats, pay homage to 1950s Riviera chic.  Sleek, clean lines,  delivered through a palette of glossy whites and  natural woods create a fun, relaxed atmosphere that is casual, informal and will make guests feel that they are getting away from it all… right in the heart of busy Central.

On weekends, ON DINING is a gathering spot for the fashionable and trendy.  On weekends, they also offer a amazing set lunch.  Imagine picking from the following carefully curated and expertly executed dishes while enjoying the spendid views of Hong Kong:

Weekend Lunch (for HK$390)

Including a spritzer cocktail or lychee energizer mocktail

Sharing Aperitif Bites (come with all weekend lunches, regardless of starters and main courses)

I tried the Chest nut soup with white truffle Chantilly.  OMG! It was so sweet.  The sweetness of the chestnut went perfectly with the fragrance of the white ruffle.  The soup was really piping hot– as it should be.  It means they paid attention to detail.

Rustici pasta, sundried tomatoes, baby spinach, black olives

Seasonal fish, organic vegetables, fennel & saffron emulsion

Silver cod, lobster macaroni, piquillo sauce

Spring chicken, pearl barley, Comte cheese, Poulette sauce

Braised Angus beef cheek, mash potato, onions, bacon, mushrooms

Sauteed Lamb loin, gnocchis, blue cheese sauce, mint salad

I tried the silver cod.  This main course is a three-way balance: the light and fresh fish complemented with the rich lobster flavour and further heightened by the piquillo sauce.  Finally, the dish is topped with a bit of fresh herb.   This is a very delicate and hard to achieve balance of perfection.

ON pastries’ selection (comes with all weekend lunches, regardless of starters and main courses)

Again, the platter is so visual.  This is sure to be a hit with ladies.

Coffee or tea

ON DINING, Kitchen & Lounge will open for lunch and dinner Monday to Thursday from midday to 10:30pm. On Friday and Saturday from midday to 11pm. On Sunday, ON DINING Lounge will be open from 11:30am to late. A three course lunch is from HKD 188 to HKD288, dinner menu costs from HKD350 to HKD550 per person. ON DINING Kitchen will seat up to 45 guests including a private room for up to 12 people, the Lounge will seat up to 50 guests.

On Dining 乃 Phillipe Orrico 先生的最新创作。Orrico 先生仅一年前开张了米其林星级餐厅,Upper Modern Bistro。
On Dining 的菜单是从北欧和地中海的新鲜食材与多彩味道取其灵感。它含有着多种令人身心安慰的菜肴,简单而利落。


On Dining 场地包括两楼,位于28楼的休闲厅以及,28楼的厨房。我被充满现代摩登风味的室内设计打动了。此设计是由Two Men In Hats 的Tim Shepherd 操办,满溢50年代的里维埃拉风格。圆滑简洁的线条通过了光油白及天然木材的色彩制造了一个轻松,趣味的休闲气氛。让人在忙碌的中环的中心中脱离现实生活的压力,得到身心的舒缓。

周末时候On Dining就成了时尚潮流品味者的重心基地,餐厅也提供了精致的周末午餐配套。现象自己从这些通过精心挑选,准备的菜肴中自选自己心仪的午餐同时欣赏香港绝境。

真是具有视觉感。清爽,开胃,是个上好的话题佳肴。

白松露尚蒂伊奶油的栗子汤

卡尔帕乔风味黄尾鱼,木瓜,酸橙,姜

我试了白松露尚蒂伊奶油的栗子汤。呜啊!好甜呀。栗子的甜味和白松露的香味成了最佳拍档。汤非常烫—汤就是应该这样烫,才凸显出了餐厅打理食物细节的用心。

我试了银鳕。这道主菜是平衡味道的三重唱:清甜,新鲜的鱼加上浓郁的龙虾味,Piquillo辣椒酱更显出了其味道。最后用新鲜药草点缀。这是难以达到的完美平衡。

视觉感超强,肯定是女性中的热门佳肴。

ON DINING, Kitchen & Lounge 星期一至四会从中午至晚上十一点半营业,星期五,六从中午至晚上十一点营业,星期天ON DINING Lounge将从早上十一点半至凌晨营业。午间套餐价格从HKD188至HKD288 晚间套餐从HKD350至HKD550。ON DINING Kitchen可坐纳45位客人,包括可容纳12位客人的私人用餐间。ON DINING Lounge可坐纳50位客人
