Popular Halal Cafe Next To Haji Lane: All Things Delicious, Singapore

Popular Halal cafe All Things Delicious is located on Arab Street, right next to local hipster hangout, Haji Lane.

All Things Delicious grew from a halal bakery by a mother of two offering healthy and delicious baked goods into an immensely popular cafe.

As I visited during Covid19, the tables were optimally socially distanced.  All tables were full.  

H for Halal and Health

All Things Delicious is halal which means no swine (peacezzzzzzz of mind). 

More than that, All Things Delicious does not use any unrefined sugar, anything artificial or trans fat. Yay!!! We can indulge knowing that the food is wholesome and we are not putting harmful things inot our bodies.  All Things Delicious uses only cage-free eggs, which means we don’t have to worry about animal cruelty.

Raspberry Mint

All Things Delicious’ Signature Lassi

The mint really perks it up and think of all the good probiotics in the lassi. Yummy and healthy!

Mushrooms Stroganoff With Steak

A decidedly umami-rich stroganoff topped with free-range, grass-fed steak 

The steak was surprisingly nice.  I was a little skeptical whether I could get grass-fed steak in a cafe but it seemed to be the real deal.  They have cut it into fine slices and have not forgotten to lightly salt it.

Shashouka

A North African stew of peppers, tomatoes, mild spices, poached eggs & a dollop of crème fraîche, served with handmade foccacia.  Add Gourmet Chicken Fennel Sausage for additional charge. 

This item is part of All Things Delicious’s all day breakfast menu available till 5pm. It is delicious and warming and has an intoxicating, mild kick to it.  Yup, it’s a great brunch item – not too heavy; not too light.

Lemon Meringue Tart

I like the very firm base crust.  It was not too sweet and was nicely balanced by the tartness.

Apple Galette

A new item.  Highly recommend to add a scoop of premium Haagen Daaz ice cream (yum) to it.

Signature Gula Melaka Scone

This items runs out very quickly.
