Zuma, Bangkok

Just landed in Bangkok and looking for a restaurant with a unique ambience to fill your stomach? Located in St Regis hotel, ZUMA Bangkok will meet your expectations of good quality food and unforgettable dining experience.

The traditional izakaya style of eating and drinking creates an informal and fun experience, with a blend of classiness.

No doubt tradition is still kept in Zuma, yet we see the restaurant having a touch of modernity in both its cooking style and its interior concept.

The use of organic materials and traditional textiles creates the perfectly ideal ambience – peace and tranquillity. Devoted chefs manage an exceptional sushi counter. The robata grill has been inspired by the distinctive cooking style of northern Japanese fishermen.

Separated by a transparent glass wall that blends the interior flawlessly with the exterior, the bar extends the dining area out to the wide, stunningly-landscaped terrace. There, a huge outdoor lounge room is surrounded by greenery and calming water effects.  Smoking is permitted on the terrace.

With 9 different establishments since establishing its first restaurant in London in 2002, from New York to Bangkok, ZUMA has definitely achieved international recognition.

Working with the same designer (Noriyoshi Muramatsu of Studio Glitt) since the beginning, creator Rainer Becker ensures each new restaurant celebrates the liveliness of the location, whilst remembering the style and ethos of ZUMA. Natural elements offer a warm and elegant backdrop for the textures and flavours of the menu.

Zuma’s consistent standards of excellence and timeless design is key reason for its long history of ZUMA’s success and popularity.

Most importantly, the achievement of ZUMA is proof of the excellent relationship that exists between co-founders, creator Rainer Becker and businessman Arjun Waney.

ZUMA’s success has not only achieved worldwide acknowledgement, but also international industry and consumer awards and accolades. Creator Rainer Becker’s original vision of ZUMA has proven to be boundless in its cultural appeal and eternal in its spirit.
