The Grande Dame of Bangkok, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, has housed one of the best fine dining restaurants in the city, Le Normandie, since the restaurant debuted 40 years ago. Located in the Garden Wing of Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, the restaurant boasts magnificent views of the Chao Phraya river as a backdrop.  The French restaurant is renowned for its excellent French cuisine, extensive wine cellar and refined service.

Le Normandie’s interior is unmistakeably classic French luxury with stunning handmade chandeliers as the centrepiece.

Ttableware is of course a crucial element of the fine dining experience. Le Normandie uses tableware custom made by Bernardaud, the renowned French manufacturer of Limoges porcelain. From Chef Arnaud Dunand Sauthie’s innovation and creativity comes a famed menu that delivers the ultimate French fine-dining experience. From the freshest of ingredients and produce brought in from the Royal Projects in the north of Thailand, Chef Arnaud has created memorable dishes which include Oscietra caviar with sea urchin and potato, lamb allaiton with eggplantand black garlic and yellowtail kingfish with oyster and crabmeat.  To further heighten your gastronomic pleasure is Le Normandie’s extensive wine collection of both Old World and New World wines.
