The Bee, Kuala Lumpur

These days, the neighborhood can be quite the exciting place to be at. Be it music performances, comedy shows or even movie screenings, The Bee offers a wide range of activities that will appeal to the senses of its guests.

Born out of the passion of its two founders, The Bee was established with the aim of providing a space in the neighborhood that would allow creativity to blossom. It hosts an eclectic range of activities, such as music performances, dance workshops and movie screenings, allowing art-lovers to gather and interact.

Music Performances

If chilling while listening to music performances after work sounds like your cup of tea, feel free to head down to the acoustic music performances every Friday at 9pm. The Sidestage is featured at Jaya One; alternatively, you may be entertained by Tunes & Pints at Publika.

Featuring music performances of up-and-comers, SOUNDSTRUCK brings to its audience music never heard before, offering a refreshing gig tinged with a little surprise. Organized by Wanted Symphony, the performance takes place on the last Friday of each month at Jaya One.

Weekends are the best time to put our feet up and unwind ourselves. Let Lot 36 indulge your senses as they bring to you their renditions of the best of jazz, originals and covers every Saturday, 9pm. Head down to Publika, and you will not be disappointed.

Literature

Remember when we were younger, our mums used to read stories to us? One or two tales might have stuck with us even till now, and still continue to be special in their own ways. If so, look no further than the poetry and spoken word reading sessions held every other month at Jaya One. Organized by Poetry Café KL, the sessions will hit a sweet spot with literature fans.

Singing competition

For the singing enthusiasts, the FEEDBACK OPEN MIC is a great avenue for you to showcase your talents. Pit your skills against other competitors, and you just might end up bagging the championship award. The competition is held every 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday of the month at Jaya One and Publika respectively. What’s more, the FEEDBACK FINALE takes the performance up a notch by inviting all past 12 Feedback Open Mic winners to compete and claim the coveted spot of overall champion.
