Each dish is balanced. This a family-run restaurant so they are very hands-on and maintain tight control over quality. Shabestan is an underrated gem and for me, is the second best restaurant in Singapore.

Dining here, you can relax because they know what they are doing and they don’t play mind games. Their dishes also conform to a very high standard. I have always told everybody in my circle Morton’s is the best place for a business dinner because the service runs like clockwork.

Daily Affairs offers fantastic value. The humble surroundings keep costs down while the cuisine is among the best quality I have seen in Singapore. Chef Oh leverages his years of experience working in 5-star hotels to combine flavours with balance, inventiveness and artistry. This is the best affordable cafe in Singapore.
I am still thinking about that delicious fall-off-the-bone Iberico pork ribs. They also have really, really delicious Michelin Bib Gourmand ramen.
Authentic quality Perankan cuisine with very, very reasonable prices in a posh location in downtown location.
The Copper Plate is really interesting—- they offer whisky pairing for small bites or tapas. Even if you don’t like whisky, come for the beef ramen. The broth is unbelievably rich and the bowl is full of beef slices.
Like Morton’s, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is an American chain. The cuisine and service are extremely competent. One advantage over Morton’s is that they are open for lunch so you can visually better take in the cuisine in the light.
